When a SECANT job is created a copy of the default stock file is made and any changes made within the SECANT job ONLY apply to that job. If you want to make stock changes which will apply to all future jobs which you create on the system you should edit your default stock file.
When SECANT is first installed it has one set of defaults in the stock library. To edit this stock file you should click on the 3-bar menu at the top of the SECANT window and select the menu option Stock/Open. Double click on Default.STK to display the stock list. Any changes made will apply to any NEW jobs created with this stock file, existing jobs which used this stock file will be unaffected.
You can configure as many different stock files as you like by selecting Stock/New from the main menu. These will then appear as options in the “Set control and stock information” dialog when you create a new job.
