SECANT is an application that runs under the Microsoft Windows operating system and produces cutting patterns for both sheet and linear materials such as wood boards and metal bars. In designing its patterns SECANT can take account of material cost, offcut management, production costs and just-in-time costs. SECANT is available as a standalone desktop application but can also be incorporated into production planning and stock control software.
The grids in the application are too small to be readable – how do I change the size?
